A+ Awards 2012
ATTTO is beginning the search for the 'ATTTO Supreme Award' Winner 2012.
The A+ Awards gives ATTTO an opportunity to recognise trainees who have made an extra commitment to complete training, while making a valuable contribution and inspiring others within their workplaces.
This year the A+ Awards will be held at the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa, Wellington.
Applications open from 2 August 2012 for the following categories:
• For the ATTTO sectors:
- Aviation (1 award for engineers; 1 award for all other 'airport operations')
- Tourism (1 award)
- Travel (1 award)
- Museums (1 award)
• ‘Peoples’ Choice Award’ (1 award - this winner will be voted by the 'people', the public that is, via social media channels - more information will be available closer to when applications open)
• ‘ATTTO Supreme Award’ Winner for 2012 (1 award - only winners from the above categories are eligible for this award)
If you, or someone you know, is an ATTTO trainee, and can say ‘yes’ to all three of the following then you or they can apply:
• Completed a qualification between 1 June 2011 to 30 June 2012
• Completed a qualification within the specified duration
• Consistently achieved throughout their qualification.
Each of the category winners receive a carved Oamaru Stone taonga and certificate, free registration (including flights and accommodation) to attend their sector’s Association annual conference. The ‘ATTTO Supreme Award’ winner will receive a $2000 professional development scholarship.
Application cut-off dates:
Early bird applications close (applicants gain an additional 5 points for being time conscientious): 24 September 2012
Final application deadline: 1 October 2012
