About ATTTO
The Aviation, Tourism and Travel Training Organisation (ATTTO) is New Zealand’s industry training organisation (ITO) for the travel, tourism, aviation and museums sectors.
We work with these industries to identify skill requirements and develop highly relevant qualifications that meet the needs of businesses; and we work with employers, training providers, schools, trainees and trainers to deliver high quality industry training.
We also promote the careers on offer across our diverse and exciting industries through initiatives such as NZSkillsConnect, secondary school forums and Gateway programmes.
As an industry training organisation (ITO), we represent the national training needs of the industries we support and provide industry leadership in the areas of training and workforce development.
ATTTO is a recognised player in New Zealand’s tertiary education sector. The qualifications we develop are assured by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority and designed for delivery by training providers or as supported on-the-job training. Either way, our New Zealand system is unique in the world in enabling learners to earn the same tertiary qualifications in the workplace that they would in fulltime study.
