HUMAN RESOURCES ADVISOR

The Aviaiton, Tourism and Travel Training Organisation (ATTTO) is New Zealand's Industry Training Organisaiton (ITO) for the travel, tourism, aviation and museums sectors.
We work with these industries to identify skills requirements and develop sector-wide, relevant qualifications that meet the needs of businesses; and to help people and businesses succeed through on-the-job vocational training.
As an ITO, we represent the national training needs of the industries we support and provide industry leadership in the areas of training and workforce development. We also promote the careers on offer across our diverse and exciting industries.
Reporting to the Chief Executive, the Human Resources Advisor is responsible for delivery of a full range of HR services within ATTTO, which will include consultation and advice on recruitment and selection, individual employment agreements, HR policy, employee relations issues, learning and development, job design and evaluation.
Pivotal to this role is your ability to provide high quality reports and exceptional customer service, displaying professional expertise to all employees and customers.
Person Profile:
- Generalist HR exposure with the confidence and ability to deliver advice at all levels of the organisation
- Well developed knowledge of HR legislation, systems and best practice
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- The ability to present well researched, analytical and logical reports and recommendations at executive level
- Strong networking and relationship management capabilities, both internal and external to the organisation
- Self starting, goal seeking, the ability to operate a number of concurrent projects
- A relevant tertiary level qualification.
