What we do
We develop and deliver future focussed, highly relevant qualifications and training support that meet the professional development and regulatory needs of our industries, and help individual businesses achieve.
A business is only ever as good as its people. Supported work-based education means businesses can up-skill and recognise their staff, increase productivity and improve service delivery, in ways that are affordable and achievable.
Because ATTTO’s qualifications are nationally recognised and endorsed by the industries we work for, schools and training providers can also use them. These institutions can reduce costs by partnering with ATTTO and making use of our quality assured, innovative resources.
By promoting the exciting career pathways available across our sectors, which are so essential to New Zealand’s economy, ATTTO contributes to building a capable New Zealand workforce and adds economic value to the sectors we support.
We develop qualifications and set national skills standards for the aviation, tourism, travel and museums industries:

- We monitor the quality of education and training for our industries across New Zealand
- We offer guidance and information about training to businesses and trainees
- We support businesses, trainers and trainees on their training and development journeys
