The Aviation, Tourism and Travel Training Organisation (ATTTO) is responsible for setting the standards for training in the Aviation, Tourism, Travel and Museums industries and leading the development and uptake of industry training.

Industry Training Advisor

Reporting to the Northern Regional Manager, the Industry Training Advisor is responsible for the business development and service account management for workplaces within the Whakatane, Tauranga, Taupo and Rotorua regions.  This role will include the mentoring and coaching of trainees in our specific industries towards achieving national qualifications. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining industry and community networks within this strategic region for our Industry Training Organisation.

This is a key role and the successful appointee will need to demonstrate:

• High levels of customer service delivery and business development skills and an ability to identify business needs and trends.
• Strong industry knowledge and/or experience with Industry Training.
• Experience in competency based training and assessment, planning and implementation skills.
• The ability to be organised, reliable, self starter and self directed.
• The ability to network with and establish high levels of credibility within the industry sectors.
• Committed to being a member of the team.
 
The position is full-time and based in Rotorua and will require some travel.
