How ATTTO Can Help
Follow these easy steps to get involved in industry training today
ATTTO is an industry-training organisation, and it is our job to work with industry partners to develop national qualifications and coordinate workplace training for the Aviation, Travel, Tourism and Museum industries.
In 2007 ATTTO facilitated the workplace training of 4,500 trainees in over 460 businesses throughout New Zealand.
ATTTO makes it easy for you to invest in workplace training, supporting workplaces and trainees through every step of the process.
ATTTO has an experienced team of Industry Training Advisors who are committed to providing the highest quality support to your business. Advisors help workplaces identify the training and qualifications that will best suit staff, and then customise a training programme to work towards. We deal with as much of the paperwork and detailed planning as possible, leaving you to get on with the job.
Step 1: Contact ATTTO
Contact us and we’ll arrange a time to meet and discuss your training needs, options for training delivery, assessment, fees and support.
Step 2: Select trainees and their study programmes
Select the team members you want to up-skill and the qualification or programme they will work towards.
If your organisation chooses workplace-based assessment, you will need to select team members to train as ATTTO registered workplace assessors. This includes completing the qualification they intend to assess, which can be done through the Recognition of Current Competence (RCC) process and a two-day Workplace Assessor course.
Step 3: Get registered
Become an ATTTO registered training workplace. This is a formal agreement between your organisation and us that specifies how we will work together to achieve good learning outcomes for the trainees. It includes a training schedule based on your options in Step 2.
The training schedule outlines the programmes and credits to be achieved, the number of team members you intend to train as assessors (if you opt for workplace-based training), associated costs, and the training entitlement that will be paid to you on successful completion of credits.
ATTTO can help with identifying and recognising current competencies and prior learning, so your staff can gain a qualification for areas in which they already have experience. We can also benchmark your in-house training against national qualifications. This will ensure your staff are developing skills and knowledge to national standards, with any existing skill gaps recognised.
Step 4: Start training and assessment
Get workplace training and assessment underway. We’ll provide a range of assessment guides to assist you in this process, including a team of staff to advise and support you through the implementation and management of your training programme.
ATTTO also provides a comprehensive range of resources to support training, including workbooks, manuals, videos and computer based learning packages.
Step 5: Present qualifications
Congratulations! Your trainees have successfully completed their training and their national qualifications can be presented.
