Workplace Assessor Training
Information on workplace assessor training
We can train one of your staff members to assess other employees who are training towards a national qualification on the job.
Alternatively, ATTTO can provide an external assessor if required.
Workplace training assessment may include:
- collecting evidence on the job
- written or oral assessment
- Recognition of Current Competency or Recognition of Prior Learning (RCC or RPL).
How do I become an assessor?
To become qualified as an in-house assessor, a candidate must gain Unit Standard 4098 Use standards to assess candidate performance. This can be achieved at the Assessor Courses detailed below.
Upcoming Assessor Courses
10 - 11 September: Auckland
12 - 13 November: Christchurch
Times and venues are still to be confirmed.
The cost of the 2 day course is $550. This incudes a comprehensive manual, practical and fun learning, as well as morning/afternoon tea and lunch.
