Getting accredited
Accreditation is the status awarded when an organisation has shown it is capable of delivering an approved course or assessing against unit standards.
Accreditation is granted by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA). In cases where providers intend to assess against ATTTO unit standards, application for accreditation will need to include a letter of support from ATTTO.
Applicants are encouraged to consult ATTTO as early as possible when planning to apply for accreditation. We can advise you on the accreditation scope you will need to apply for.
