Getting started in workplace training
If you’re looking at taking your first step into workplace training, chances are your employer is already supportive of your learning and may even have suggested it. ATTTO works closely with a large number of employers from across our industries, helping them up-skill their teams with nationally recognised workplace-based qualifications and training programmes.
Talk to your employer in the first instance to discuss whether ATTTO training is the right choice for you and how to get started on your training journey.
If your employer doesn’t already offer ATTTO on-the-job training, our Business Development Advisors (BDAs) or Industry Training Advisors (ITAs) can help. Talk to your employer first to find out if they will support you and ask them to get in touch with our customer services team to arrange a meeting.
Our team is committed to making it as easy as possible for both you and your employer to integrate workplace training into your jobs. They will handle the paperwork and help you and your employer identify the best training options to meet your needs.
Contact our customer services team - The Hub - to discuss your training needs and get started with ATTTO industry training.
Why do I need my employer’s support?
ATTTO’s workplace based qualifications and training programmes are designed to reflect the way things are done in your organisation, with a lot of the learning done on the job. This means you really need to have the support of managers, supervisors or workplace trainers who can share their knowledge with you and help you gain the skills you need to complete your assessment and training tasks.
In return for their investment in you, ATTTO will work with your employer to make sure the training you carry out matches their needs as a business. We will provide support to both of you to help ensure you achieve your training objectives.
If you are in a workplace that will not support you through your training, it’s still possible to sign-up with ATTTO. Contact our customer services team for more information.

It might seem overwhelming at first – especially if this is the first time you’ve worked towards formal qualifications – but your training will be worth the effort and you’ll soon find it fits fairly easily around your work and other commitments. If you need additional support to get your training completed, or you have questions about your training, talk to your manager/supervisor/trainer, or contact ATTTO.
