News | Changes to ATTTO Training Agreement and TEC Requirements

19/01/2011

Changes made by the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) mean ATTTO now needs to collect new information when workplace-based trainees register with ATTTO. Our Training Agreement forms have been updated to reflect these changes.

Click here to download the new Training Agreement, or go to 'In the Workplace'

Please ensure all new on-the-job trainees fully complete and submit this new form, along with their Individual Schedule of Learning. Trainee registrations received using the old Training Agreement form after 31 January 2011 will not be accepted by TEC.

TEC now requires that all trainees provide proof of identity (drivers license, passport) along with their completed Training Agreements. This must be photo ID confirming full legal name, date of birth, gender and citizenship/residency status

If a trainee does not already have a National Student Number (NSN) or a New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) ID number, this photocopy will need to be verified by an authorised person (see TEC's website), the trainee's employer or an ATTTO staff member. The verifier will need to site the original identification document and sign/date the photocopy.

Please note the above information differs from that published in ATTTO's e-newsletter dated 19 January 2010. The above information is updated information.
