News | New ATTTO Chief Executive Appointed
ATTTO Chairman Rick Bettle announced today that Kathy Wolfe has been confirmed as ATTTO’s new Chief Executive, effective from yesterday (23 November 2011).
Rick said the Board received 20 applications for the position and found Kathy to be the strongest candidate.
Kathy has been Chief Executive (Acting) since the departure of former ATTTO Chief Executive Elizabeth Valentine last month. She has been part of ATTTO’s senior management team since April 2007, and worked closely alongside Elizabeth as Deputy Chief Executive prior to her departure.
“Kathy has 15 years experience in a variety of senior leadership and governance roles. She has the detailed understanding of the industry training sector and ATTTO’s operating environment that’s needed to lead this organisation forward,” said Rick.
“The Board looks forward to working with Kathy to further build the value that ATTTO delivers to the aviation, tourism, travel and museums sectors.”
Kathy was previously ATTTO General Manager Business Services. Prior to that she was Director Corporate Services at Family Planning and Corporate Services Manager at Victoria University. She holds an MBA from Victoria University. She is a provisionally accredited director and member of the Institute of Directors and New Zealand Institute of Management.
