National Certificate in Aeronautical Engineering (Aircraft Manufacture) (Level 4)
This National Certificate in Aeronautical Engineering (Aircraft Manufacture) is for employees in the New Zealand Aircraft Manufacturing industry.
The qualification recognises the skills and knowledge required for the industry and comprises a core set of skills for people working in all areas of aircraft manufacturing. Elective unit standards recognise the skills for particular areas including aircraft painting, aircraft furnishing and equipment, aircraft servicing, aeronautical machining, aircraft mechanical repair and overhaul, aircraft structures, and aeronautical non destructive testing. These are particular jobs within the process of aircraft manufacture and the flexibility in the elective section enables these functions to be recognised across multiple workplaces.
