National Certificate in Aeronautical Storekeeping (Level 3)
The National Certificate in Aeronautical Storekeeping is for people working in the aeronautical storekeeping sector of the aviation industry.
The qualification is comprised of core unit standards, which recognise the knowledge and skills common to all sectors of storekeeping and warehousing, supplemented by specialist unit standards which recognise the complementary skills and knowledge for aeronautical storekeeping. It is more extensive than the National Certificate in Distribution (Level 2) qualification and is tailored specifically towards storekeeping duties in an aeronautical engineering worksite.
The primary aim of this qualification is to recognise people’s skills in storekeeping in an aeronautical environment while providing a path from other associated industries to the specific requirements of the aviation industry.
