Destination Australia is a topical subject for students studying travel and tourism in New Zealand because Australia is New Zealanders favourite holiday 
destination. From the other side of the Tasman, Australian tourism statistics show that New Zealand is the top country for incoming visitors.
To decide to go to Australia on holiday is an easy decision - it is close to New Zealand, it is an affordable destination compared to other countries,
it is easy to travel around – they drive on the same side of the road as in New Zealand, speak the same language,
use the metric system and it is also considered a reasonably safe destination, a point becoming increasingly important to the travelling public.
