National Certificate in Casino Security (Level 4)

The National Certificate in Casino Security (Level 4) is for people who intend to work in a casino as a security supervisor.

It recognises the skills and knowledge required to carry out generic supervisory tasks, manage casino security, develop, plan, and maintain casino event security, and investigate incidents in a casino. Holders of this qualification will also have completed the National Certificate in Casino Security (Level 3) or have demonstrated prior knowledge and skills.

To qualify to work in Casino Security a person must hold a Certificate of Approval issued by the Department of Internal Affairs.

To undertake unit standard 9912 people must meet the minimum age requirements for entry into a casino.
