ATTTO Secondary School Forums

ATTTO will be holding the 2009 Secondary School Forums November and December in Wellington, Auckland, Rotorua, Dunedin and Christchurch.

The dates and venues are as follows:

• WLG: Tuesday 24 November – The Skyline Function Centre (WLG Cable Car), Wellington
• AKL: Thursday 26 November – Air New Zealand Training Centre, Auckland Airport 
• ROT: Friday 27 November – Skyline Skyrides, Rotorua 
• DUD: Monday 30 November – Scenic Circle Hotel, Dunedin
• CCH: Tuesday 1 December – Air Force Museum of NZ, Christchurch 

Open to ATTTO accredited schools, these free 1 day forums are an excellent opportunity for Tourism Teachers and Gateway Coordinators to find out about:

• Successful delivery methods and ideas from colleagues
• The new Tourism and Aviation Gateway programmes
• New and upcoming training resources, such as Teacher Resource Kits
• The NZSkillsConnect career web portal for Tourism and Hospitality
• The support offered by your Education Relationship Coordinators (ERCs)
• ATTTO qualifications, moderation and assessment 
• Plus much more!

Participants will also have the opportunity to network and give feedback on how we can improve our service to you.

• The name of your school
• The names/email addresses of interested staff
  (note: there are 2 places available per school, 1 Tourism Teacher and 1 Gateway Coordinator/Careers Advisor)
