This manual will assist trainees to identify and explain key forms of Māori language expression and its significance in a tourism context.

This manual was developed to cover the unit standard 17391 - Identify and explain the significance of Maori language expression and indentity in a tourism context.
 
The manual supports trainees in the workplace who are working towards the National Certificate in Tourism Maori (Level 3).

This manual may be purchased individually, or as part of the Tourism Maori manual package which includes 8 manuals for $90.

This manual is designed to assist the candidate to identify the uniqueness of Māori culture.  It is thought that Māori language expression will enable the candidate to gain an understanding of the interconnectedness of Te Ao Māori.  By understanding these aspects the candidate will be able to interpret these differences to tourists.
