This manual covers five of the seven compulsory subjects of the National Certifi cate in Tourism and Travel Introductory Skills - Level Two.
For many students this will be their fi rst introduction to the formal study of tourism and travel and therefore the delivery of the content within the manual should be made as interesting and stimulating as possible.
While suggestions are made throughout the manual as to various activities that students can complete, use your imagination and whenever possible get students “up close and personal” with the industry through visits to industry organisations and/or by arranging for people from industry to come and talk to your students
